A Master Clock DAC allows it to operate independently of the source signal's frequency.
The Unity chassis is machined from a single billet of aluminum that provides superior EMF shielding. Galvanic isolation also ensure that the VEGA G2 is 20 % quieter than the original VEGA DAC.
It uses superior damping by weight distributing the internal circuits, and has specially designed sprung and damped feet.
The fully passive volume control uses an R-2R resistor ladder network for precise, distortion- and noise-free gain setting. One set, the volume control becomes electronically invisible via relays, one more detail that lets the VEGA G2 push the boundaries of sonic performance.
Eight coil-latch relays ensure that unneeded circuits are completely off and producing no EMI.
Built around Auralic's Tesla G1 platform, the VEGA G2 is scalable and can receive automatic updates.
